Waiver and Policies.
What to expect!
Since we are based in Townsend, TN and most off-road trails are outside the national park, there will be an on-road drive of about an hour to reach the areas we explore. Because of this, every vehicle on the tour must be roadworthy and legal, and every driver must be licensed and insured according to state law.
We do our best to choose stock‑friendly trails, but many routes are unmaintained and recommended for high‑clearance vehicles only. Weather and other factors can quickly change conditions. If any trail becomes unsafe or impassable for any vehicle in our group, we will not leave anyone behind. Instead, we’ll adjust as a group, choose alternate routes, and do our best to meet everyone’s expectations.
Most of these rides are long enough that everyone will need to pack a lunch, so please bring food and drinks for everyone in your rig. What we pack in, we pack out—no trash left behind. Remember, you’ll be eating in a wild habitat. For example, a simple can of salmon is a favorite treat for our black bears, and it could attract some very unwanted guests.
What is expected of you!
Because we’ll be on federally managed lands and subject to federal laws, we ask that everyone follow those rules with us. Our goal is to keep every tour family‑friendly and enjoyable for all participants. For that reason, we don’t allow alcohol or risky behavior like doing donuts. Activities like that can cost all of us access to these beautiful trails.
We know this isn’t an issue for most guests, and we appreciate your understanding. We truly want people from all walks of life to be able to enjoy the trails with us and make new friends along the way.
